Simplicity is in the little things, and how to blame this sentence?
A super easy and super fast recipe to make, in 40 minutes you are already eating it !!
What is needed:
- puff pastry, I used the Buitoni rectangular, and yes, it's Vegan 😉
- 2 ripe peaches
- Brown sugar
- maple syrup, I use Probios syrup
- sesame seeds, if you like them
Let's proceed!
We wash the ripe peaches and cut them into slices, I divided the peach into 4, then into 8 and finally into 16 slices. In this way the slices will detach themselves from the bone.
Pour some sugar on a plate and "bread" our peach slices.
Take the cold puff pastry and place the peach slices in groups of 3 or 4 leaving 1cm from the edges so that they can swell during cooking.
Proceed until all the peaches are finished. Cut our rectangles and pour a teaspoon of maple syrup over the peaches.
It will form a super yummy crust!
Let's go cooking!
We preheat the convection oven to 180 °, once hot we bake our rectangles and let them cook for about 25 minutes.
Once cooked, let's take them out of the oven and decorate them with a cascade of sesame seeds or toasted almonds, it will give that extra fairytale touch !!
The TOP would be to eat them still warm, so as to experience the super crunchiness !!
You can make this basket with the fruit you want most! Figs, Apricots, Berries, Apples, etc., etc. Open your imagination and let yourself be inspired by seasonality.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe !! If by chance you publish it again and tag me !! I'd love to share your result 🥰.
PS if by chance you have some leftovers, they can be kept for a maximum of 2 days, but they are so good that it is impossible to make any more!
Do you know that for an extra crunch you can use our patented Italian AIRMAX microperforated mat? Thanks to the micro-holes it allows a homogeneous distribution even on the bottom, for a superior crunch!
