CARE OF THE HOUSE
1. Make a DIY home deodorant
Take a spray bottle, fill it with water, add 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil: spray it wherever you want to perfume the rooms.

2.Eliminate the stench of stale ash in ashtrays
Fill ashtrays with baking soda to get rid of the stale ash stench.

3. Sanitize the appliance
Make a solution of 2 tablespoons of baking soda dissolved in a glass of hot water and immerse the appliance in it to clean it thoroughly.

4.Clean combs and brushes
Combs and brushes fill up with crap and dust, even if we don't see them and it is important to clean them at least once a month.
Fill a basin with water, dissolve two tablespoons of baking soda and let the combs and brushes soak to clean them well.

5.Lightweight surface scrub
Make a paste with baking soda and water and use it to clean the tub, sink, grout.

6.To clean the sponges

19. To unclog blocked sinks
Pour a glass of baking soda down the blocked drain, then a glass of Citric Acid solution (it will sparkle and foam) and immediately after that pour a pot of boiling water.

You can make bath bombs at home using a few ingredients.

Here's what you need:

2 tablespoons (50g) of baking soda;
1 tablespoon of citric acid;
2 tablespoons of cocoa butter;
10 drops of essential oil (lavender, jasmine, ylang-ylang, tea tree, etc.).
Melt the cocoa butter in a double boiler, remove from heat, let it cool and add baking soda and citric acid.
Finally add the drops of essential oil.
Use this paste to make balls at least the size of a fist and let them dry for 10 days.
When they are dry you can wrap them in cling film and store them in the fridge.

Laundry saves tricks
74. Always soft garments and fabrics?
Pour 25 grams of baking soda into the softener compartment,
or, by hand, directly in the laundry soaking water. (Never use pure bicarbonate on wool and silk but always diluted in water.)
If the stain is fresh, just wet it with cold water, wait a few minutes and
sprinkle it with powder, leaving it to act for at least an hour before washing the garment in the washing machine.
If, on the other hand, the stain is dry, proceed as follows: spread the garment on the table, wet the stain with cold water and let it act for a few minutes. Meanwhile, form a paste of baking soda and cold water that you will spread on the stain: let it dry and brush off the residue before washing in the washing machine.
