Indications:

is a classic and well known remedy, used as an anti-inflammatory and vulnerary (healing) in case of lesions that are difficult to heal, inflammatory skin conditions, couperose, varicose, hemorrhoids and chilblains. Great to use to create an emollient face mask.

Warnings:

it does not present any problems whatsoever, apart from subjects allergic to Asteraceae (daisy family) who could have sensitization from contact.

Extraction method:

obtained by macerating the flowers of Calendula officinalis in oil L.

Some more information:

The oleolite contains the resinous and essential fraction of the flowers, as well as a part of the flavonoid fraction, that is the pigments that give the bright orange color to the flowers. These two fractions are known as those from which the antiseptic, healing and anti-inflammatory properties of the oleolite derive.
